On 5 December 2024, Tanjung Bruas Port Sdn Bhd (Tanjung Bruas Port), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a visit from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) as part of the Jelajah Pelabuhan 2024: Eksplorasi Tanjung Bruas programme. It involved 20 participants, consisting of 19 final-semester students from the Faculty of Marine Engineering Technology accompanied by one lecturer, who aimed to gain a deeper understanding of port management and operations.
