On 23 Jun 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group received an inaugural visit from the Honorable Bapak Antoni Arif Priadi, Senior Advisor to Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia and delegation.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and several members of PTP Management Team. Also present to greet the delegation were Badrulhisham Fauzi,  Chief Financial Officer of MMC Group and Kamaruzaman Hj Munasir, Assistant General Manager, Regulatory and Operations Division of Johor Port Authority.

The working visit began with an in-depth presentation on PTP’s business and operational performance, current and future development as well as its contribution towards Malaysia, specifically Johor’s port industry and logistics sustainability.

The delegates then proceeded for a comprehensive port tour where the delegation visited Central Planning & Performance Office (CPPO) for a briefing on PTP’s latest state-of-the-art Asset Digitalisation Programme.

A special engagement and high tea session with vessel and tugboat crews of Indonesia descent working in PTP was also organised on the request by the delegation to celebrate and appreciate the team.

This visit was part of PTP’s stakeholder engagement programme that aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and its stakeholders.
