On 15 December 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a delegation from Vietnam Provincial People’s Council led by Mai Ngoc Thuan, Permanent Vice Chairman for a working visit to view the port’s latest development.

Welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and several senior management members, the delegation started their visit with an in-depth presentation on PTP’s operational performances, the port and free zone progress, its ongoing developments and contribution of the port towards the nation’s economic sustainability.

The delegation was then ushered to the Central Planning & Performance Office for a briefing on PTP’s latest state-of-the-art Asset Digitalisation Programme. Before ending the visit, the delegation proceeded on a port tour to see the container terminal, Free Zone Phase 2C – Tanjung Adang Site Project and Free Zone B area.

This working visit was an important stakeholder engagement for PTP to share its latest updates and developments of the company while at the same time strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two parties.
