GELANG PATAH, 21 July 2023 – Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between Malaysian based MMC Group and Hague based APM Terminals has been named Procurement Team of The Year for Small Organization with a turnover of under £500 million at Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Asia Excellence in Procurement Award 2023.
The recognition was given to PTP after its procurement team made significant improvements to their performance and culture resulting in increased effectiveness, influence, efficiencies, savings, or competitive advantage.
In a statement released to media, PTP Chief Executive Officer, Marco Neelsen remarked that this latest achievement and various other accomplishments set by PTP over the years underlined the value the company provides towards its whole business and operation ecosystem including its customers, business partners and all other stakeholders.

Organised by Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and ProcureCon, the CIPS Asia Excellence in Procurement Award 2023 was held at Equarius Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore.
