On 22 April 2021, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group aided the Penang General Hospital through its Give for Good campaign in which Penang Port distributed dry food such as biscuits, peanuts, dry noodles, packet drinks and mineral water.

The Give for Good campaign ran from 19 March 2021 to 10 April 2021 where a donation drive was organised among Penang Port employees to collect as dry food as possible. In order to reach maximum participation, donation boxes were stationed at all Penang Port’s terminals and installations namely Penang Port Headquarters, North Butterworth Container Terminal, Butterworth Wharves Cargo Terminal and Prai Bulk Cargo Terminal. The Give for Good campaign received an overwhelming response as the employees came together to play a vital role in aiding the community and provide support for those in need.

Penang Port in other initiative to enliven the spirit of Ramadan had also distributed 700 packs of bubur lambuk for all its employees. This annual initiative was organised by Persatuan Pekerja Islam Penang Port as an appreciation towards the employees and to spread the joy of Ramadan.
