On 22 March 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, ushered in the holy month of Ramadan by fostering closer ties with the stakeholders through a special Majlis Iftar bersama Agensi Kerajaan. Held on 22 March 2024, at Bertam Resort Penang, the event brought together over 200 guests from various government authorities and agencies.

Dato’ Seri Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of PPSB, graced the occasion with his presence. The spirit of Ramadan was further exemplified by PPSB’s invitation to Pusat Jagaan Inapan Kasih Sayang. Dato’ Seri Syed Mohamad took the opportunity to distribute “duit raya” to the kids, embodying the essence of PPSB’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

In addition, the event was enriched by a knowledge-sharing session led by Mohamad Sabiren Soaid, Assistant Supritendant of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

The Majlis Iftar served as a bridge for PPSB to solidify relationships with government bodies and deepen our engagement with the stakeholders.
