On 10 November 2022, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, organised the South Thailand Customer Appreciation Dinner at Centara Hotel, Hat Yai, Thailand. The dinner was successfully held after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The dinner was graced by the presence of Dato’ Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of Penang Port, Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port and more than 200 South Thailand’s key partners.

This momentous dinner was organised to gather around and appreciate the importance of Penang Port’s South Thailand key partners in realising the vision to enhance the port connectivity around the region. Penang Port will always welcome and provide a platform to all its key partners so they can exchange ideas and opinions while strengthening cooperation on various issues of interest to the logistics sector in the country.

Penang Port will continue to support all its key partner’s vision, goals, and initiatives to further develop South Thailand and Malaysia’s economic development, aligning with both countries’ ambition to be a major logistics hubs in years to come.
