On 9 May 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, organised the Aidilfitri Open House Ceremony with Government agencies and port users at Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, George Town.

Dato’ Seri Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of Penang Port and Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port was in attendance to welcome the port’s key partners and Government agencies.

The Open House featured captivating performances of Silat Semerap by Persatuan Seni Silat Tua Melayu Pulau Pinang and zapin performance by Dewan Budaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia. A live band performance further enriched the celebratory atmosphere.

The Aidilfitri Open House Ceremony is a platform for Penang Port in strengthening bilateral ties with stakeholders as well as strengthening ties with each other.
