On 5 November 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group organised a Northport Futsal Challenge 2022 for its key customers. The first futsal tournament since the pandemic was much anticipated by Northport’s customers and successfully drew participation from 24 teams. The tournament was held at Frenzy Sports Arena, Shah Alam and was officiated by G. Ulaganathan, General Manager of Commercial, Northport.

Maritime Network won this year’s title by defeating CMA CGM in the final match. Transworld GLS finished in third place while PROTON settled for fourth place. The Top Scorer for this year’s tournament was Nur Ariff Tambi Hamid from Eternity Shipping, while Helmiredza Rusman from Maritime Network was crowned the Man of the Match.
