On 7 November 2024, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, organised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration. The programme invited students and teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan St Anne’s Convent, Port Klang, to the port to learn and experience Northport’s sustainability initiatives.

The programme showcased Northport’s ‘Circle of Life’ project that features the hydroponic farming system within the port premises. Through hands-on activities, students gained practical experience in sustainable agriculture, fostering environmental stewardship among the younger generation.
