Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), members of MMC Group, recently organised appreciation dinners to share the joyous Chinese New Year celebration with their various customers and stakeholders.

The appreciation dinner in Johor was hosted by Johor Port and PTP on 3 February 2023 at Pekin Restaurant, Johor Bahru. All guests were greeted by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port and Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP together with members of senior management from both ports.

In Penang, the gathering took place at Ascott Gurney on 10 February 2023 with the attendance of Dato’ Syed Mohamad Syed Murtaza, Chairman of Penang Port and Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port.

During the event, the ports shared their corporate highlights and latest achievements throughout the recent pandemic period. The significant gathering served as a networking platform to strengthen friendships and cooperation as well as to appreciate the collective efforts of valued customers and stakeholders in making Johor Port, PTP and Penang Port what they are today.
