On 20 October 2022, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, through its JP Skills Centre, won the award for the Best TVET Training Provider (Ports & Logistics) in the recent Malaysia Education & TVET Awards 2022 (META 2022). The inaugural META 2022 programme aimed to honour and recognise personalities, educational and business entities in Malaysia that have excelled in providing the best in the formal education sector inclusive of all the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) service providers in the country.
