On 28 December 2022, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, organised its annual Johor Port Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Day for all employees and port users.

The Johor Port’s HSE Day was officiated by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer who commended the team efforts put in towards ensuring a safe working environment in Johor Port and for adopting the necessary safety precautions to enable its employees and port users to return home to their families safely.

During the event, Johor Port’s Management together with several port users have signed a pledge as a commitment to work together towards maintaining a safe working environment and reducing the risk of accidents as part of Johor Port’s Zero Accident target. Various activities were organised throughout the HSE Day which included Zumba Fitness session, exhibitions by Government Agencies and companies, including Johor Port Authority, Physiomobile and several other exhibitors.

Johor Port’s HSE Day is a platform to share and demonstrate Johor Port’s commitment towards Health, Safety and Environment, and to increase HSE awareness among its employees and port users.
