On 26 September 2024, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, continued its heartfelt tradition of gratitude and recognition by honouring 25 Johor Port retirees, accompanied by their spouses, at a grand Retiree Appreciation Ceremony held at the Renaissance Hotel Johor Bahru. The event not only marked the end of their professional journeys but also celebrated their significant contributions over the decades.

With a “Batik” theme, the event beautifully blended elegance and tradition, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere that reflected both Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and the uniqueness of each retiree’s journey. A highlight of the evening was a live performance by the talented JPB Band, adding an extra layer of festivity and entertainment. The music evoked fond memories and brought everyone together in a joyful, celebratory spirit.

The evening was filled with touching moments, including the presentation of personalized tokens of appreciation to each retiree, as well as heartfelt speeches and tributes from colleagues and Management.
