On 20 January 2021, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group organized an employee recognition programme, QC and RTG of the Year 2020. The programme is a recognition to the top three (3) Quay Crane (QC) and Rubber-Tyre Gantry (RTG) operators for their best performance at Johor Port’s Container Terminal throughout 2020.

Lokmanul Naim Ibrahim was named as the Quay Crane Operator of 2020 while Mohammad Noor Mohamad Rahim came in second and Rahizuren Kusnin was placed third. For RTG operator, Muhammad Afif Ad Dailami Ridzwan was named the RTG Operator of the year 2020, while Zulkifli Sabuli came in second and Wan Noor Izni Wan Kamarudin was placed third.

Presented by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port Berhad, the top 3 QC and RTG operators received cash reward, plaque and certificate. Also present at the event; Thiagu Krishnan, Senior General Manager, Operations, Hermee Tahir, Head, Human Resources & Administration, Juhaimi Hashim, Acting General Manager, Operations and Hussien Embi, Union Representative.

The QC and RTG of the Year 2020 was part of the Company’s employee recognition initiatives aimed to raise employee morale and stay motivated especially during this unprecedented challenge due to COVID-19 pandemic as well as to thank employees for their outstanding achievement that help to support Johor Port’s values and goals,
