On 12 January 2021, Tanjung Bruas Port Sdn Bhd (Tanjung Bruas Port), a member of MMC Group, received an inaugural official working visit from YB Haji Hasbi Haji Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Transport accompanied by Captain K. Subramaniam, General Manager of Malacca Port Authority.

YB Haji Hasbi Haji Habibollah and the delegation were welcomed by Md Derick Basir, Director of Tanjung Bruas Port, Mohamad Nizam Ibrahim, General Manager of Tanjung Bruas Port and the management team.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed with a comprehensive presentation on Tanjung Bruas Port and its vision to become a Multi-Purpose Port Gateway for Malacca. Md Derick Basir elaborated on the port’s milestone, operational performance, core businesses, on-going development, future plan as well as challenges and its socio-economic contributions to Malaysia and Malacca state.

The working visit concluded with a tour around Tanjung Bruas Port and its terminal to set eyes on the services and facilities within the port.
