On 5 November 2024, the Port Security and Safety Department of Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, organised the annual Ecocraft Competition, a unique programme designed to promote recycling habits and environmental stewardship among the port community. Held for the second year in a row, the initiative is organised in conjunction with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Day 2024. The competition encouraged participants to collect and creatively reuse recyclable materials to produce and construct innovative structures, aligned with Johor Port’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
