On 30 January 2023, SPT Services Sdn Bhd (SPTS), a subsidiary of Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), hosted an appreciation luncheon for achieving another milestone in accomplishing the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) ISO Certification for Provision of Port Management Service and Maintenance. This event was attended by Md Derick Basir, Chairman of SPTS, Directors of SPTS and senior management from Johor Port.

SPTS embarked on its journey towards IMS ISO Certification in 2021 with the preparation of comprehensive documentation and ensuring compliance with the standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

SPTS was audited by INTERCERT, an international certification institute providing auditing, certification and training services of international repute on various management systems and standards worldwide. SPTS was successfully certified on 29 November 2022 as having accomplished the ISO IMS Certification for Provision of Port Management Service and Maintenance.
