On 19 January 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group received an inaugural working visit from YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor and delegation.

Also in presence to accompany YAB Menteri Besar was YB Lee Ting Han, Johor State Exco for Investment, Trade and Consumer Affairs. Both dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chairman of PTP/Group Managing Director of MMC, Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and several members of PTP management team.

The working visit began with an in-depth presentation on PTP’s business and operational performance, current and future development as well as PTP’s contribution towards Johor economic sustainability. The delegation then proceeded to Marine Control Centre, Level 7, Wisma A before departing for a comprehensive port tour where the delegation visited Central Planning & Performance Office (CPPO) for a briefing on PTP’s latest state-of-the-art Asset Digitalisation Programme.

The familiarisation visits by YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor is part of PTP’s stakeholder engagement programme that is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and Government agencies.
