Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, received two working visits from Teras Teknologi Sdn Bhd (TERAS) and Kumpulan Melaka Berhad (KMB) on 29 and 30 May 2023, respectively. TERAS delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Anwar Ishak while the delegation from KMB was led by its Maritime Department Manager, Ts Saiful Nizam Othman.

They were both warmly welcomed by the Johor Port Management Team. During the visit, the delegates were provided with a presentation on the port’s operations and its ongoing development by Edwin Gerard Louis Rosary, Head of Operations of Johor Port as well as a briefing on the Port Terminal Information System by Omar Othman, Head of Information Communication and Technology of Johor Port.

To provide a first-hand experience, the delegations were also taken on a guided tour of the port, allowing them to witness the facilities, infrastructure, and operations in action, further enhancing their understanding of Johor Port’s capabilities.

These visits were organised as part of Johor Port’s stakeholder engagement initiative aiming to share the latest updates and development at the port and at the same time served as a valuable opportunity to enhance bilateral relations with relevant stakeholders.
