On 6 March 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising the invaluable contributions of women across the organisation. The event was aligned with this year’s theme, “Inspire Inclusion,” which resonated deeply with Penang Port’s commitment to creating an environment that empowers women to thrive and reach their full potential.

The day commenced with an energising Zumba performance. The performance paved the way for an empowering day filled with learning and bonding. Next, Rozieta Shaary, a motivational speaker, also known as Ibu Rose, captivated the audience with her talk titled ‘The Empowered Woman: The Torch Bearer of a Love World.’

Additionally, an informative awareness session was conducted by the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), which equipped Penang Port’s with useful knowledge about their financial well-being and the essential services provided by the organisation.

The International Women’s Day celebration at Penang Port not only acknowledged the remarkable contributions of women but also fostered a positive and supportive environment for them to continue excelling.
