PENANG PORT ORGANISES A PARADE AND FIRE SUIT HANDOVER CEREMONY

On 22 March 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of the MMC Group, made significant strides in enhancing its operational safety protocols with a grand Parade and Fire Suit Handover Ceremony.

Amidst a ceremonious atmosphere, a total of 81 fire suits were formally handed over, marking a pivotal moment in Penang Port’s commitment to fortifying the capabilities of its fire and rescue personnel. Led by Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, the Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port, the event underscored the organisation’s unwavering dedication to bolstering operational prowess and ensuring the safety of its frontline heroes during critical interventions.

The ceremony’s highlight was the parade inspection, which comprised 31 firefighters, led by Assistant Fire Superintendent Mohd Zaidi Zulkifli. This symbolic gesture not only showcased Penang Port’s reverence for its firefighting force but also served as a testament to its proactive approach in prioritising safety and preparedness.
