From 23 – 27 May 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), Johor Port Berhad Northport (Malaysia) Bhd and Penang Port Sdn Bhd, members of MMC Group participated in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023) under the pavilion of the Ministry of Transport Malaysia.

Touted as the largest maritime and aerospace exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, the 16^th edition of LIMA was held at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre and was attended by over 45,000 trade visitors, more than 250,000 public visitors and international visitors from 41 countries.

The exhibition showcased the latest in defence, maritime and aerospace technology and attracted a wide range of exhibitors from around the world. In addition to the exhibition and the most anticipated air shows by Malaysia Air Force, various conferences, workshops, technology talks and MoU signing events were also featured throughout the programme.

On 25 May 2023, PTP also expanded its network of cooperation through the signing of MoU with University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) involving the development of studies in the field of maritime and logistics through work-based learning for UMT students as well as platform sharing for research and development in maritime technology and port management.
