On 12 July 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group participated in the 12th UN Global Compact-Accenture CEO Study, organised by United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP was featured as one of the speaking panellists where he shed light on the topic of ‘Unlocking the Global Pathways to Resilience, Growth and Sustainability for 2023’.

Also sharing various insights within this session were Valentin De Miguel, Senior Managing Director, Chief Strategy Officer & Sustainability Services Lead Accenture – Growth Markets (Singapore); Gagandeep K. Bhullar, Founder and CEO of SuperHumanRace; Dr Enki Tan, Executive Chairman of Giti Tire Pte and Sue Allchurch, Chief of Outreach and Engagement of UNGC as the session moderator.

The 12th UN Global Compact-Accenture CEO Study is an international annual survey of CEOs from around the world, focusing on their diverse perspectives on sustainability and corporate responsibility. This significant study is jointly conducted by the UN Global Compact and Accenture, representing the largest research effort within the history of this partnership.

The participation of PTP in this session was part of the company’s continuous effort in increasing brand awareness in the region and as an on-going engagement initiative to create a greater impact through business and operational sustainability.
