On 19 September 2024, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, hosted an academic visit from Politeknik Nilai. Johor Port welcomed 2 lecturers and 22 students from the Politeknik Nilai’s Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (DLS) Programme. The visit aimed to provide the students with firsthand exposure and practical insights on the operations of Johor Port Berhad and logistics industry.

The visit also included a comprehensive tour of Johor Port’s facilities and followed by an interactive session led by Adnan Jainu, Assessment Officer of Johor Port Skills Centre. During the session, Adnan Jainu shared valuable insights into Johor Port’s operational procedures, supply chain management, and its role as a key logistics hub in the region. The students were given the opportunity to engage in discussions and gaining practical knowledge that is crucial in complementing their academic studies.

This initiative reflects Johor Port’s commitment to supporting educational institutions by offering a real-world experiences while fostering industry-academia collaboration to nurture future talent in the logistics and supply chain sector.
