3 September 2024, Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of the MMC Group, strengthened its ties with the Johor Media fraternity during a media relations event held at Lesung, by Johara Cafe, Johor Bahru.

The event was graced by the presence of PTP Chief Executive Officer, Mark Hardiman, and Chief Financial Officer, Muhammad Abdullah Hatta. Representing the Johor Media Fraternity were Bureau Chiefs, Editors, Journalists, Reporters, Radio Announcers, Photographers, and Videographers.

PTP highlighted its remarkable growth and expansion in recent years, solidifying its position as a leading container port in the region. PTP also shared details about its ongoing expansion project, which includes the construction of a new berth to accommodate larger vessels. This investment is part of the port’s commitment to enhancing its capacity and efficiency to meet the growing demand for maritime services.

In addition, PTP discussed its initiatives to embrace technology and improve its operations. The port has implemented advanced automation systems and digital platforms to streamline processes, reduce turnaround times, and provide better services to customers.
