NTW is a nationwide event organised by HRD Corp, an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources, with the aim of fostering a lifelong learning culture among employers, training providers and the general public. The week-long programme provides opportunities and initiatives for upskilling and reskilling Malaysia’s workforce and talents through various learning methods and platforms provided by local industry players for free to all Malaysians nationwide.

NTW 2024 commenced nationwide from 24th to 30th June 2024, with the aim of offering over 25,000 free training programmes to 200,000 Malaysians. The focus skill areas for NTW 2024 included Life Skills, Future Skills, Financial Skills, Creativity & Innovation and Sustainable Development.
